Where is the nearest airport? Where is the closest place to rent a car?

The closest major airport, Norfolk International Airport, is approximately 2 hrs away. Cars can be rented at the airport and there is also an Enterprise located in Kill Devil Hills close to where you drive onto the Outer Banks.
